The Graduate History Society (GHS) usually organizes an introductory event or two at the beginning of September and a number of social events throughout the year following. 

The GHS President also represents graduate students at most deparmental meetings and on some departmental committees, including the Graduate Committee.

History Across the Disciplines Graduate Student Conference

The annual graduate students’ conference is organized by members of the GHS. The conference is an interdisciplinary gathering of researchers, both from throughout Atlantic Canada and further abroad, to promote new ideas, discussions, and connections between MA students, PhD students, and early career faculty. The best paper presented at this conference, as decided by a panel of students and faculty members, wins the John Flint Prize.

This year's conference will be held on-line, March 18th and 19th, 2022
