In celebration of the Arabic language and Arabic culture at Dalhousie, in Halifax, and the world, the Arabic Studies program at Dalhousie University hosted a special Arabic-style bazaar (market) on Thursday, February 05 from 9am to 5pm in the Atrium of the Marion McCain Arts and Social Sciences Building. There were many tables featuring Arabic treats and crafts, and visitors had their names written in Arabic calligraphy by an expert artist. Thanks to the wonderful planning of Arabic instructor Wael Haridy, guests were able to get a taste of the wonders and beauty of the Arabic world and how you can study it as a Dalhousie student.
