Alan Fiddes initially began his engineering diploma program in 2009 at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (now Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture) never expecting it would take the next nine years to truly finish what he started.

For the 4th year, the Dalhousie Libraries is offering Research Bootcamp, a suite of sessions designed for teaching and research assistants and graduate students.

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of Dalhousie University – a milestone few Canadian universities have reached. One of the themes for the celebrations is “The Year of Belonging” -- emphasizing diversity within the university and Dal’s connections to its communities.

When Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture engineering student Haley Matthews (Class of ’18) was a participant of Imhotep Legacy Academy, she was the only female on the Truro team. Now, seven years later, that same team is made up of mostly girls with Haley as their head coach.
