Fourth-year student athlete Ellen Sharp of Lower Millstream, New Brunswick has been named Dal AC and Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association(ACAA) Athlete of the Week for October 3 - 9th.

Keeper Ellen Sharp was a key factor in the last two games for the DAL AC Rams women's soccer team. A 5-1 win against UKC and Mondays tight 1-0 win over the high scoring Mystics highlighted Ellen's ability to communicate and keep her team in the game with great saves.

This was  the first shutout win of the season for the Rams. Ellen stopped tough shots in hurricane conditions for the win; the most crucial being a save where she tipped wide a shot headed for the back of the net late in the game which would have tied the score.
