Cultiv8’s Innovation Workshop was an exciting and informative session that brought together students from all corners of the Dalhousie Agriculture Campus!
Students, local business owners and mentors attended the Cultiv8 2016 launch party, which gave participates an idea of what’s to come over the next semester and how they can take part in Sprint Ag!
Over 50 people attended the event where Farm Credit Canada provided the keynote on innovation in agriculture and gave out swag bags to all who attended! A panel of entrepreneurs including William Allaway of Acadian Maple and Fraser Hunter of Knoydart Cheese Farm, gave the students tips for success and kept the crowd entertained!
Cultiv8 looks forward to bringing its students together with industry experts over the next semester, and seeing all the bright agriculture ideas that are generated in the sandbox!
