2013 Scholarship Banquet

The 2013 Faculty of Agriculture Scholarship banquet was held Thursday, November 21 and provided an occasion to celebrate the strong and growing support from scholarship sponsors and the achievements of the students who receive those scholarships.

The annual Scholarship Banquet provides an occasion to bring together students who are scholarship recipients with the sponsors of their many scholarships. The Faculty of Agriculture is very fortunate to have the commitment from so many businesses, farm organizations and alumni to provide scholarships to both recognize academic achievement and provide motivation to deserving students, while assisting financially with ever-increasing education costs. 

$1,000 Stuart & Ruth Allaby Graduate Studies Scholarship Awarded to International Student

Faezeh Kharazyan, an M.Sc. student at the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture, was selected as the 2013 recipient of the $1,000 Stuart & Ruth Allaby Graduate Studies Scholarship at the Scholarship Banquet held in November.  Dean Dr. David Gray, is shown congratulating Faezeh.   The scholarship is awarded to an M.Sc. student at the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture concentrating on animal research
