Biosafety Training

Biosafety training is mandatory for all faculty, staff and students working in research labs with biohazardous materials.

The University has developed an in-house Biosafety training session to introduce the basic principles of laboratory biosafety. New workers are expected to participate in the first available session after joining the research group.

This training course has a number of required readings that must be completed before attending the classroom session. Once you register for the course, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the required readings.

To register for the course, please visit the events calendar on Dalhousie University’s Learning and Development Opportunities page.
