NSERC’s Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program awards grants of up to $1.65M over six years for the development of innovative training programs designed to enhance collaboration and facilitate the transition of trainees to productive employees in the Canadian workforce.

A number of significant changes were made to the Letter of Intent (LOI) and Application stages of the program (see brief summary here). NSERC held information sessions via Microsoft Teams on February 7 and 8 to provide an overview of the CREATE program and application process. New changes to the 2024 CREATE program were communicated during these webinars. Please also note that the internal deadline for the LOI has been extended from April 3, 2024 to April 10, 2024, and that all supporting information for the VPRI letter of support should be submitted to Dr. James Karle (j.karle@dal.ca) no later than April 17, 2024. All teams who were successful at the Expression of Interest stage have been contacted independently about the information required to draft the letter of support.
