The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) are accepting applications for multidisciplinary research projects aimed at developing and scaling responsible evidence-based artificial intelligence (AI) and data science approaches that support COVID-19 response and recovery in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Research consortia and individual organizations may apply, with preference in selection for those based in LMICs. IDRC and Sida have contributed a total of CAD $10 million to the program, which will support projects between $500K to $1.25 million for two years (2020-2022).

For more information, please see the full guidelines on the IDRC website.
