Are you passionate about biomedical research? Would conducting research in the laboratory of a leading scientist at University of Toronto excite you? If so, apply to the Amgen Scholars Canada Program!

The Amgen Scholars Canada Program is an immersive program of hands-on research experience, professional development and social activities aiming to prepare students for graduate school and careers in science. Program participants will be flown to Toronto and housed at the University of Toronto’s historic St. George campus in downtown Toronto. During the summer program, participants will travel to California to take part in the North American Amgen Scholars Symposium. Travel and accommodation are provided by the program. Participants are additionally supported by a $5000 stipend.

To be eligible to apply, you must be enrolled in an accredited four-year university in Canada with a minimum GPA of 3.2, have Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and can commit to participate in the program in its entirety (June 1 – August 7, 2020).

The Amgen Scholars Canada Program application deadline is February 3, 2020.
