Cystic Fibrosis Canada's 2019 Fall Research Competition

Cystic Fibrosis Canada invites you to submit a Notice of Intent to apply to the Basic Science and Clinical Research Grants program.

The purpose of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s fall research competition is to support leading research into the understanding, management and treatment of, and cure for, cystic fibrosis (CF). Proposals will be scored on both scientific merit and impact for CF patients. All applications must address Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Core Principles of funding the best science that has the highest probability of making an impact for CF patients.

Basic science and clinical research grants will undergo review by separate, expert panels and will be ranked within their respective groups. The maximum grant request for basic science and clinical research grants is $100,000 /year for 3 years. Cystic Fibrosis Canada will accept budget requests beyond $100,000/year if there is a funding partner. For more information, please see the program guidelines and application forms online.

Note: Cystic Fibrosis Canada will not be accepting applications for Masters and Doctoral Studentships in 2019. Applications may be accepted in the future if funding permits. Applications for Research Fellowships will open in August.

Deadlines:

Notice of Intent - Wednesday, July 31st at 6pm AST

Internal Application - Tuesday, September 24th at 4:30pm. Researchers can contact their research grants facilitator for details or questions.
