The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute (BHCRI) is a virtual Institute that brings together and supports all facets of cancer research in Atlantic Canada. Its researchers are all working toward the same goal: to save lives and ease the burden of cancer on individuals, families and society. Funding comes from many sources, but all of it stays in Atlantic Canada to support cancer research taking place in the region.

BHCRI provides a weekly e-notice, which includes information on cancer research related events, seminars, training and funding opportunities in the Atlantic region. Notices are typically sent on Thursdays during the academic year.
