Nominations are now open for the annual Weston Brain Institute International Outstanding Achievement Award. In 2018, the award will be honouring a Canadian-based researcher for recent contributions in translational research in neurodegenerative diseases of aging.

The award consists of a $40,000 prize provided to the awardee through institution with which the awardee is affiliated. Complete award information and the nomination procedure can be found here. The nomination deadline is June 12, 2018 at 2 pm (EDT). 

The award will be presented at a ceremony concurrent with the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting in San Diego, California in November 2018.
