Weston Brain Insitute Funding

Recent funding announcement
The Weston Brain Institute has recently allocated more than $30 million in funding for Canadian projects. This funding is a part of the larger $100 million commitment from the Institute to support research on neurodegenerative diseases of aging. Read the full press release here.

Canada: Rapid Response 2017 (PD-related diseases)

Funding for PD, PSP, DLB, MSA, vascular contributions to the listed diseases, prodromes to the listed diseases

Seed funding (maximum of $200,000 over up to 18 months) to support novel, high-risk, high-reward translational research that accelerates the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of aging.

Postdoctoral Scholars 2017 *NEW*
Funding (£57,000 per year for 2 years) to support top-tier Canadian postdoctoral scholars by providing salary support for international training at the University of Oxford and affiliation with Merton College.
