The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is requesting declaration of all nuclear fuel cycle related research and development activities not involving nuclear material in Canada, from Dalhousie University. There are examples of such activities provided by the CSNC as to what would constitute declaration. As well I have included the sections from articles 2 and 18 cited from the directive from the CNSC.
Any researcher or student performing this type of research at Dalhousie University is asked to declare this information to the Radiation Safety Officer, Jill Robertson by February 5, 2016 via email or phone: jrobertson@dal.ca or 902-494-1938. Any questions regarding this declaration request can be sent to Jill Robertson.
