Medicine Briefing Note and Panel Discussion

The MacEachen Institute has partnered with the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University to explore important health policy questions.

COVID-19 has emphasized just how challenging and crucial it is to develop good public policy in the health domain. The Institute is bringing a strong sense of policy and government to help address the challenge COVID-19 poses to the medical field.

In collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, we have now held two virtual roundtable discussions with up to 30 health experts representing Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Based on these discussions, we wrote two briefing notes (see below) to summarize the highlights and observations put forward. 

Prior to the roundtables, we hosted a live stream panel discussion on COVID-19 featuring the Chief Medical Officers of the Atlantic Bubble. You can watch the panel below or on our YouTube channel.
