Funding for Project Leads
The Project Lead program is based on a cost-sharing model between the MacEachen Institute and participating faculties.
One teaching release for a 3-credit hour course is valued at $8,000.
The maximum amount a faculty would contribute to the Project Lead program is $4,000; it could be reduced to $2,000 based on funding opportunities the MacEachen Institute is pursuing.
Tables 1 and 2 present budgets for financing a Joint Project Lead with and without additional funding. The MacEachen Institute will be pursuing additional funding opportunites.
