MI Accreditation

Our MI (formerly MLIS) program is accredited by the American Library Association (ALA) Committee on Accreditation, with the status of Continued accreditation. We submit an annual statistical report, and a biennial narrative report for approval by the Committee. Accreditation documents are available upon request, pending University approval.

Program Assessment 

In addition to the process of accreditation, our MI degree is assessed through an ongoing, robust and systematic planning and self- assessment process.

Recent Employment Data from our Graduates

Our survey of 2024-2025 graduates reports that 75% of graduates secured employment in the IM field, with 83% of graduates obtaining that employment within 3 months of graduating.
