Spring 2017 Research Update
Research discipline, in many health care circles and helps guide practice, provide light in a sea of variability while aiding the clinical decision-making process and building a solid framework for future professional growth. In our profession, while physiotherapists are increasingly engaged in research, many still see research as something they “did” while in school; a rather academic venture that was, in many respects, a means to an end. Physiotherapists, by nature, are curious; seeking answers to complex problems in clinical, administrative and academic settings. Research can transform your practice, motivate for change and support the future of our profession. Be the change you want to see in physiotherapy. Have you considered research in your physiotherapy past, present and future?
