Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island.  In 1998 she became an Alumnus of the Dalhousie University Faculty of Health Professions after successful completion of the Diploma in Health Administration.  Rachel continued her education in health care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital School of Radiography, Charlottetown PEI.  After graduating in 2000 she became employed as a Radiological Technologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.  She gained extensive and valuable experience as an Interventional Radiological Technologist, working in both IR and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting.  She joined the School of Health Sciences in 2014.
