Dr. Laura Eramian has been awarded an honourable mention for the Canadian Anthropology Society's (CASCA) Labrecque‑Lee Book Prize

Dr. Laura Eramian has been awarded an honourable mention for the Canadian Anthropology Society's (CASCA) Labrecque-Lee Book Prize. The prize committee noted that her book, Peaceful Selves: Personhood, Nationhood, and the Post-Conflict Moment in Rwanda, “makes an excellent contribution to the established Africanist anthropological literature on post-disaster.” The honourable mention was presented at the CASCA business meeting on November 22, 2019 at the AAA/CASCA joint conference in Vancouver, BC.
