The Department of Philosophy and the Spatz Visiting Chair in Jewisth Studies, Dr. Lissa Skitolsky, invites you to the 2021 Irving Glovin Lecture featuring Dr. Lewis R. Gordon, PhD, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Conneticut who will speak about Africana Jewish Studies.

On March 5th from 12-1pm, Mariana Assis presents "Rethinking Reproductive Rights and Health from the Feminist Paradigm of Social Reproduction: A Territorialized Analysis of Bodies and Livelihoods" ​as part of the Dalhousie Feminist Seminar Series.

On March 26th from 12-1pm, Tasia Alexopoulos presents "Scorpionflies, Bed Bugs, and Ducks: Exploring Polygamy and Sexual Violence in Canadian Legal Policy" as part of the Dalhousie Feminist Seminar Series.

Recipe Book!
We are looking for your favourite recipes to include in a department recipe book. Any recipes that are relatively easy to make and/or that you think others would enjoy are welcome. All you need is the source of recipe, a description, a picture (if possible), and the recipe itself. All recipes can be sent to ughs@dal.ca.
We have extended the deadline for submissions until the end of March!

Pandemic Time Capsule!
The Undergraduate History Society is collecting items for our time capsule – to be buried in March and opened in 2031. Any items/memories that have impacted or influenced your life during the pandemic (or anything else) can be included. Digital items (that can be printed, such as a note to the people in the future who will be opening the capsule or a picture) can be sent to ughs@dal.ca and physical items can be either mailed or dropped off at the Department of History office:

The Faculty of Graduate Studies has launched Dal GradPD, a go-to hub for professional development opportunities tailored uniquely to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
