Ang Zhai is an Instructor in the Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences at Dalhousie University.
He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Before joining Dalhousie, Ang gained professional experience in urban planning and landscape design at the Urban Planning & Design Institute of Nanjing University (Shanghai).
As an alumnus of the joint program, he is honored to return to the academic community and looks forward to supporting students and collaborating with colleagues in areas such as planting design, grading and GIS.
Alexander (Sandy) Berry is the new Graduate Program Assistant in the Dean's Office.
A graduate of St. Mary's University with a Bachelor of Commerce and NSCC with a Business Administration Diploma, Sandy is excited to join the campus community. Originally from the Truro area, he now lives in Murray Siding with his wife, Jillian, their two children, Owen (5) and Eilidh (2), and they are looking forward to welcoming their third child this October. Their home is also busy with four dogs and two cats!
Outside of work, Sandy enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with his family.
