The Dal AC Pride Parade Planning Committee is excited to announce Dal AC will be participating in the 2024 Truro Pride Parade on Saturday, June 22nd with a tractor pulled float! The parade will leave the Colchester Legion Stadium at 1PM and end at Civic Square.
We would like to invite campus community members to participate in the parade. Friends, family members and pets are welcome! There will be space for people on the wagon, and those who would like to are welcome to walk.

Parking for parade participants is available at the Legion Stadium in the lot by Aroma Mya. Participants can access parking via North Street. Please note that Lorne Street will be closed to traffic to allow for parade set-up.
PARADE RULES
1) Parade Marshals are the official on-site authorities and any instructions given by them must be followed and your courtesy and cooperation is expected. Any entrant not meeting requirements may be removed from the lineup.
2) Animals are permitted; however, entrants are required to take care of clean up as necessary along the route.
3) Candy and other giveaway items are NOT permitted. Throwing of candy or other giveaway items is prohibited. Entrants observed disregarding this rule will be immediately removed and barred from participating in future years.
4) Passengers are to remain seated on the float, and all items secured. Children are supervised by an adult.
5) Smoking is not permitted in the set-up area or within 20 feet of any floats or marching entry during the parade.
6) The Truro Pride Society reserves the right to screen all entries with an eye to overall impact on the parade, and if necessary, remove unacceptable entries.
7) The parade will be photographed, videotaped, and recorded for publicity, historical, and educational purposes. These photographs and recordings may be shared in electronic or print form, and any parade participants, including minor children, is likely to appear in materials resulting from the parade. All participants grant consent to the Downtown Truro Partnership, the Truro Pride Society, the Town of Truro, and other partner organizations, in perpetuity, to display these images and recordings in any related promotional use without compensation.
