Science Atlantic (formerly known as APICS) is excited to be celebrating 60 years of making connections and providing opportunities for students, educators, and researchers.

Activities include annual academic conferences in 10 different disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields, lecture tours by notable scientists, awards recognizing research and science communication skills, travel assistance for students to attend conferences and workshops for faculty and students.

The organization now represents 18 post-secondary institutions from all four Atlantic provinces.

To celebrate, each institution is hosting a tree dedication event on campus.  The Faculty of Agriculture ceremony will see the dedication of a Ginko Biloba tree and will take place as follows:

Date: October 15, 2021
