Position:
LARC 2000 Landscape CAD I (FAFU) Marker

Term/Dates:   March - June 2021                      
Pay Rate:
In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

Work Assignment:

Duties may include but are not limited to marking student assignments using AutoCAD drafting software to create design plans and details for landscape architecture (LA). Marking will include providing comment on the work submitted as well as a grading the work and recording grades.

The course will be delivered by distance to LA students at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University

(FAFU) in the spring semester. Exact dates for the semester have yet to be announced but the position is expected to run for about 14 weeks from late February to mid-June 2020.

Requirements:

The successful applicant will be:

 a capable user of current AutoCAD software for 2-dimensional drafting,

have a solid understanding of basic drafting conventions,

a current Dalhousie University student preferably in the landscape architecture program or other design discipline,

able to work efficiently, independently and on schedule, and

well-organized and able to maintain confidentiality.

Students who have successfully completed LARC 2000 in the past may be suitable candidates.

Applications must include a cover letter, CV, one letter of reference, and a sample of your own drafting work using AutoCAD. Provide all documents in pdf format and include a .dwg version of your drafting work.
