Under the leadership of Amy Unicomb, facilitator of the Horticultural Skills Training Program at the Nova Institute for Women, participants in the program were able to contribute to our community through two fundraising events. More than $450 was raised for the Colchester United Way and 19 holiday fir wreaths were donated to the Truro Food Bank for their Christmas-time baskets going to local families.
Extended Learning has been delivering the Horticultural Skills Training Program for over 10 years.
Happy Holidays!
