Drs. Vasantha Rupasinghe and Gefu Wang-Pruski of Dal-AC were among four researchers who were invited to speak for the Food Panel at the NRC-DAL Research Symposium on Thursday October 11 held at the Steele Ocean Science Building Atrium of Halifax Campus.
The symposium showcased Dalhousie’s selected strong research programs within the themes of Algae, Food and Health as well as our successful collaboration with NRC.
The Food Panel initiated some thoughts towards future joint attempts to address global challenges such food security, diet-associated chronic and metabolic disorders, sustainable food production, food safety etc.
