Queena has been with Dalhousie University since 2002 and has enjoyed a varied career which has allowed her to get a better understanding of the University as a whole.
Queena began in the Facilities Management Department as Work Order and Accounts Receivable Clerk, then moved on to Financial Services where she was part of the Research and Special Purpose Accounts team and worked primarily with ACOA accounts.
From there Queena worked in the Deans Office in the Faculty of Engineering and most recently as Administrator for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Queena joined the Faculty of Agriculture as Faculty Administrator this past summer. Her interest in the Faculty of Agriculture is also a personal one. As a 4-H member, leader and Provincial Council member she was a frequent visitor to campus. Coming from a farming community / family and having run a small hobby farm herself, Queens hopes her background both personally and professionally will be of benefit to the position.
