Please note effective Monday, November 30th – UPS Services from the Truro Center will be modified. This change will affect Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.
All Air Services coming out of Truro Center will be an extra day. The change will affect Express Early AM and Express Saver services. This means that next day air delivery will not be available from the Truro location. Please note that this does not change Halifax campus, their services will remain the same. Services within the Maritimes will not change as most areas in the Maritimes are next day delivery, with the exception of remote areas. However, this will affect any package going outside of the Maritimes to anywhere else. The change is due to flight changes UPS is experiencing coming out of Halifax.
Please note the change will be as of Monday, November 30th. Your shipping platform will show otherwise this week, this is because the change was in effect today. However, UPS has elected to delay Truro location for another week. Any shipment until Friday, November 27th will be available for next day air. However, as of Monday, November 30th, these shipments will be an extra day. Example: A shipment from Truro to Toronto will take 2 days.
Sandra Watson is the main contact for Dalhousie when dealing with UPS. Any feedback can be shared with her. UPS apologizes for any inconvenience and you may contact Sandra Watson for direction for urgent shipment request.
