Laurel MacIntosh, Instructor with the Dalhousie Veterinary Technology Program received two awards last month.

Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association Award of Merit

This is the first year that Veterinary Technicians are considered part of the NSVMA and Laurel is the first recipient of this award.

This  award will be  presented to  a Veterinarian, Registered Veterinary  Technologist or a member of the community who has made significant  contributions  to the veterinary profession, th  NSVMA the well-being  of  animals and who has enhanced the public image and public awareness of the veterinary profession

Eastern Veterinary Technicians Association’s Technician of the Year Award.
