Aishwarya Mohan was awarded a Travel Award by the Protein and Co-products (PCP) Division of the American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) to present her research poster titled "Sodium Deoxycholate-binding Affinity of a Hydrophobic Casein Plastein" at the 106th AOCS Annual Meeting & Industry Showcases, which took place on May 3-6, 2015 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Aishwarya is completing the first year of her M.Sc. (Agriculture) program under the supervision of Dr. Chibuike Udenigwe and has currently co-authored three articles published in peer-reviewed journals with another two manuscripts in the process of publication. She is also a recipient of the Nova Scotia Graduate and Innovation Scholarship.
