Position: Sessional Lecturer – Fall 2015
Department: Environmental Sciences
Pay Rate: $6,681 - $7,924 (inclusive of 4% vacation pay)
Work Assignment: This sessional lecturer will teach Lectures and Labs for ENVA4005 GIS (Section 1 & 2) for the period of September – December 2015. The class is currently scheduled for Monday and Wednesday (section 1) and Tuesdays and Thursdays (section 2). The sessional lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, running labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Excellent oral, written communication skills, Collegiality and interpersonal skills. PhD in Geography, Geology, Land Sciences, Environmental Sciences with GIS application and experience OR Masters with two year experience in Geography, Land Sciences, Environmental Sciences with GIS application and experience.
