Two professors from Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie and Truro, NSCC are taking the lead to spark local conversations and plan actions to make COLCHESTER-TRUO the best region in Nova Scotia.
Partners from government, business and community organizations along with citizens of Truro and Colchester County are taking action to make this the best region in Nova Scotia. You are all invited to join at NSCC – Salon – Cafeteria, on 9th July, 7-9pm. We anticipate many creative ideas and actions from Community Conversations will be put to work in Truro - Colchester. Everyone has a role to “shape our new economy together” and to go beyond what is recommended in the ONE Nova Scotia Report. To access the result provincial report see: http://onens.ca/report/
Plan to come on 9th July and bring family, friends and colleagues. We get the community we make. Please see the facebook page for more information and if you like, Like the page and share with others. https://www.facebook.com/onensEngageTruro
Also encourage gatherings of business, government and community throughout this region to strategize on creating opportunities to utilize the many assets and talents of citizens in this vibrant region.
Your voice and contributions would be key! For further information please contact Kathleen Kevany, kkevany@dal.ca
