Every year the Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA) calculates the calendar date when the average Canadian has earned enough income to pay for his/her annual grocery bill, coined 'Food Freedom Day'. This year, Food Freedom Day falls on February 7.
As Canadians, we enjoy a safe and abundant food supply thanks to all the players along the value chain. This year's theme focuses on celebrating the Canadian Value Chain and Canadian products.
Make Canadian products your #1 choice at the grocery store and celebrate Canadian food!
