It is Organic Week in Canada! This September 21-28 marks the fourth annual Organic Week, and opportunity to celebrate organic food, farming and products across the country. As a part of both the Canadian organic and Dalhousie Agricultural Campus communities, the Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (OACC) hopes that you will join us in celebrating organic - the fastest growing food and agriculture sector in the country. Interested in discussing organic science, standards, markets or issues? You are welcome to visit us individually or in groups at the OACC office on the top floor of the MacRae Library anytime (contact Andy Hammermeister at Andrew.hammermeister@dal.ca). For more information on Organic Week, and to find events happening in Nova Scotia and beyond, please visit www.organicweek.ca.
