NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) - Summer 2013
NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada) sponsors a program of awards to outstanding undergraduate students. These awards are meant to encourage undergraduate students to undertake graduate studies and pursue a research career in the natural sciences and engineering.
The purpose of the award is to supplement the salary of a summer student who is working on an individual research project, designed in conjunction with a faculty member who holds an NSERC Research Grant. Faculty of Agriculture awards will be held in the summer of 2013. Students must work full-time (16 weeks) in research and development in the natural sciences and engineering during tenure of the award.
