Youth Social Enterprise Launchpad is being held February 8^th – 10^th at the NSCC campus in Truro.  http://trurolaunchpad-es2003.eventbrite.ca/?rank=10&ebtv=C 

The conference is FREE and is designed to challenge students to begin creating real entrepreneurial solutions to the social, economic or environmental issues that they care about – solutions that they may actually implement in their communities.  The LAUNCHPAD is sponsored by NS Co-operative Council, Community Business Development Corporation, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Colchester Regional Development Agency, Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development and Business Development Bank of Canada and Downtown Truro Partnership.
