Global Affairs Canada released a pre-announcement for a planned call for proposals launching in May 2023. This opportunity is aimed at funding research that supports the sustainable strengthening of health systems and their resilience to face stressors that weaken those systems, such as pandemics, and promote the delivery of quality, gender-responsive health care services so the most vulnerable, in particular women, adolescents and children, can achieve their health and nutrition rights, including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
This call is focused on low and middle-income countries (LMICs) in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. A minimum of 50% of funding through this call will focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
For more information please visit the Canadian funding for international projects page.
Details about this call will be provided once the call is launched.
