Message from the Office of the VPRI

It’s my great pleasure to share an invitation to Falling Walls Lab – Atlantic Canada, to be hosted by the OVPRI on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Halifax Central Library’s Paul O'Regan Hall.

Falling Walls Lab is an international pitch competition the culminates in Berlin, Germany in November, as part of the Falling Walls Science Summit, a global conference celebrating progressive new ideas aimed at making world a better place. The global event marks the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and gathers thought leaders from around the world.

At our preliminary Atlantic Canada competition, participants will pitch fresh solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges – in just three minutes. The winner will receive an expense paid trip to compete in the global finals.
