Over the past several months, Research Nova Scotia (RNS) has developed a number of policies to govern how it supports research. Several additional policies are awaiting Board review/approval and should be sharable in the fall.
The five approved policies can be found here. They cover how RNS deals with:
- indirect research costs
- the rules around requesting extensions to current projects
- which research expenses are eligible for RNS support
- requests for sponsorship, and
- requests for letters of support for research projects, whether they involve RNS funding or not.
