Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on March 14, 2022 in Events

The 3rd International Conference on LGBT Psychology and Related Fields – Promoting equality, social justice, and psychosocial well-being in a contrasting world – will be held at ISPA (www.ispa.pt), in Lisbon, Portugal, from June 22 to 25, 2022.

After many challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization is now able to host the Conference and discuss research on LGBT topics in person. You can submit your work in the following formats: Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Paper Symposium, Poster Symposium, and Roundtable. All presentations shall be in person. General submission guidelines are available on the Conference website.

Just like the previous two conferences, this will be a unique opportunity to create a forum for students, researchers and scholars interested in different areas of LGBT research to discuss current topics, so to bridge the gap between LGBT research and the community realities in which LGBT people live in. The main objective of this Conference is to give visibility to LGBT Research, with particular emphasis on LGBT Psychology, thus providing a significant contribution to a civic, socially conscientious, and sustainable development in the current international scenario that respects sexual diversity.

The Conference will also feature invited addresses by Charlotte Patterson (University of Virginia, USA), David Frost (University College London, UK), and Carla Moleiro (ISCTE-IUL, PT) and other eminent scholars who have significantly advanced the field of LGBT research.

Call for papers is now open until March 27, 2022! Notifications about submissions will be sent before April 22, 2022.
