Funding, News and Announcements

This message is to notify the research community of recently released pre-announcements for the Hearing Restoration Research Program and Rare Cancers Research Program managed by the Department of Defense office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

The following FY21 funding opportunities are anticipated:

Hearing Restoration Research Program

• Focused Research Award

Rare Cancers Research Program

• Concept Award
• Idea Development Award
• Resource and Community Development Award

A pre-application is required and must be submitted through the electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal prior to the pre-application deadline. All applications must conform to the final Funding Opportunities/Program Announcements and General Application Instructions which can be found on the Grants.gov website. A listing of all CDMRP and other extramural funding opportunities can be obtained on the Grants.gov website by performing a basic search using CFDA Number 12.420.
