The NCE Secretariat is expected to launch its latest competition for the NCE Knowledge Mobilization (NCE-KM) initiative, in January 2018.
The NCE-KM initiative does not support research per se, but rather networking and collaboration among well-established research teams and knowledge users to further the application and mobilization of knowledge. Successful Networks will be composed of well-established research teams and receptor communities, who together develop tools that facilitate the uptake and application of world-class research results.
Applications for KM-NCE funding will be expected to address critical issues of scientific, intellectual, social, economic and/or cultural significance in areas of strategic importance for Canada.
Full details will be available when the competition launches early in the new year. In the meantime, any interested researchers are asked to contact Shelley Brown, Manager, Institutional Strategic Initiatives (shelley.brown@dal.ca), to register their interest.
