Mitacs Globalink Research Awards help faculty and students in all disciplines at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Reciprocal opportunities exist between Canada and France, and a call for applications is now open.
Awards for students registered at Canadian universities to conduct research in France:
Globalink Research Award – INRIA
· Open to Canadian graduate students
· 12- to 24-week projects at any INRIA Research Centre in France
· $5,000 award plus a monthly stipend from INRIA
Awards for French graduate students to conduct research at Canadian universities:
Globalink Research Award – INRIA
· Open to French PhD students from INRIA Research Centres
· 12- to 24-week projects at Canadian universities
· $5,000 award plus airfare and a monthly stipend from INRIA
Placements will be expected to commence in autumn 2017 or winter 2018.
Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to contact the International Research Facilitator (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.
