Similar to last year, institutions are given a quota of applications that they can submit to the national competition. Dalhousie University can submit 21 RTI applications to the national competition. NSERC requires that institutions have an internal pre-selection process to select applications to be submitted to the national competition. Dalhousie will conduct a similar process as last year in which five of our eighteen submitted were awarded funding.
Researchers who submitted an internal NOI are asked to submit a NSERC RTI Full Application via the Research Portal forms for review by Dalhousie’s internal committee. Please note that NSERC has instructed the PI’s to leave their forms “In Progress” to enable them to continue to modify their RTI forms.
Please see NSERC's website for more details.
Download the pre-selection instructions here. Please contact david.spurrell@dal.ca or 494-1160 with any questions.
