Mitacs Globalink Research Awards help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Dalhousie faculty in any discipline may submit applications on behalf of their senior undergraduate or graduate students. Awards of $5,000 will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research projects at selected universities in Brazil, mainland China, India and Mexico.
Full details of these awards are available online here.
Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to contact Jennifer Morawiecki (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) in International Research & Development for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.
Note that Dalhousie has established an internal application process for these awards, and applications are currently being accepted for student placements starting in January 2017.
Deadline: 10 June 2016
