Neurodegenerative Diseases of Aging
Round 2 of the Canada: Rapid Response 2016 program is accepting applications. This round of the program will focus on Parkinson’s and related diseases. Applications for round 2 will close on Tuesday, July 5th at 2:00pm EDT.
Goal
Provide seed funding for novel, high-risk, high reward translational research ideas to catalyze the development of safe and effective treatments for neurodegenerative diseases of aging
Funding
Up to $150,000 over up to 18 months
Eligibility
Applicants must be researchers or postdoctoral fellows developing a therapeutic and/or a tool to help accelerate the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of aging
Disease Group
PD-related diseases:
PD, PSD, LBD, MSA and prodromals
Round 2 (PD-related diseases):
Letter of Intent Deadline: Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 2:00pm EDT
