A reminder that CREATE LOIs are due at the end of the week for review and ranking by internal committee. To date, the NSERC form 187 is not available online. Instead, please follow the link below to the NSERC instructions and submit the following.
Internal Deadlines
March 27, 2015: Submit LOI for internal review to meghan.wagstaff@dal.ca
April 3, 2015: Receive committee comments
April 17, 2015: Submit LOI & VPR Letter of Support to meghan.wagstaff@dal.ca
May 1, 2015: NSERC deadline
- PI Name and Form 100
- Title of proposal which must include “NSERC CREATE in/for”, as well as the discipline
- List of co-applicants
- List of collaborators
- Outline of training program (2 pages free form including a table of trainee numbers)
- Excellence of proposed team of researchers (2 pages free form)
- Industrial stream only - letters of support
Updates to Program Description
Supporting Gender Representation and Advancement
CREATE initiatives are encouraged to promote approaches that increase the representation and advancement of women in the natural sciences and engineering, as one means to foster excellence in research and training. Teams should strive for a balanced gender representation in the group of trainees and in their supervisors, role models and mentors.
