Mitacs Globalink Research Awards help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Dalhousie faculty in any discipline may submit applications on behalf of their senior undergraduate or graduate students. Awards of up to $10,000 are now being offered to students in support of 12-week research projects at selected Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Full details of these new awards are available on Mitacs website.
Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in these opportunities is asked to contact Jennifer Morawiecki in International Research & Development for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.
Note that Dalhousie has established an internal application process for these awards, and applications are currently being accepted for student placements starting no earlier than autumn 2015.
